The Zanzibar® brand tells a story that unfolds beautifully through its pieces:
The Portuguese ships that followed the Maritime Route to India opened by Vasco da Gama and docked on the island to stock up on supplies.
When they arrived in Europe, they were filled with wonders, including printed Indian fabrics that would later give rise to the current versions of our Chitas de Alcobaça, the same ones that the brand uses in the interiors and other details of the bags and baskets it creates.
It also explores the area of jewelry, creating jewelry in brass or silver, gold plated or plated, combined with semi-precious stones and other natural materials, seeking to portray the beauty of the archipelago.
More recently, he has also dedicated himself to Homeware, designing different pieces for the home or office with jewelry or leather goods applications.
